Summary
Provides leadership and oversight for the online educational experience, ensuring the delivery of highquality
instruction that promotes student success, engagement, and program effectiveness. Supports
curriculum integrity, faculty development, academic excellence, and student achievement while fostering
a positive learning environment. Maintains alignment with institutional goals and applicable federal, state,
and accreditation requirements through continuous evaluation and improvement of program outcomes.
Collaborates with faculty, staff, and external partners to support student progression, professional
readiness, and successful completion of program and credentialing requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate instructional staff, including the development and selection of faculty
to teach online courses.
• Ensure that the faculty have the appropriate credentials as required by CHCP and the accrediting
body.
• Direct advisory committee activities for the program.
• Work closely with the Instructional Design Team to update and/or change any required
curriculum.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Monitor instructional behaviors in the LMS.
• Report on measures of student outcomes (retention, satisfaction, graduation rates).
• Promote the Dental Assisting Program among various community constituents to broaden the
visibility of the program.
• Assist in the development of new courses and programs that are relevant to the growth and
expansion of the program.
• Plan and oversee laboratory sessions to be held at CHCP campuses for students.
• Review the curriculum and textbooks with instructors, program managers, the advisory board, and
the director.
• Review student evaluations of instructors and programs, externship evaluations, employer
surveys, and graduate surveys with the Education Director
• Participate in new student orientation as needed.
• Review completion and placement rates with the Director of Career Services and the Directors of
Digital Services-Academics
• Schedule in-service training for instructors with the online academic team.
• Conduct monthly faculty meetings.
• Ensures programmatic compliance with all accrediting and regulating bodies.

Education
• Associate's degree required.
Experience
• Minimum of three (3) years field experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of online or classroom instruction experience
Certificates and Licenses
• Nationally Certified or Registered Dental Assistant (CDA or RDA) or a licensed dentist, and is
proficient in four-handed and/or six-handed dentistry principles.
• Must meet both ABHES Chapter VIII and TWC requirements to be an approved instructor and
Program Director.
Travel
The position requires up to 25% travel primarily in Texas. This position will be part of our corporate office
and require travel to other locations as needed. Travel may be necessary on short notice; therefore, you
must be flexible within your professional and personal schedule to accommodate company need.
