Cardiovascular Sonography Instructor

Department: 600-2230 Cardiovascular Sonography
Location: Houston, TX

Cardiovascular Sonography Instructor (Part-time) 6- 10 pm
Location: Houston Campus

Job Description:

Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of sonography professionals? Do you thrive on helping others reach their full potential and love working closely with students? If so, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!

As a part-time Cardiovascular Sonography Instructor, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality curriculum content to our Sonography students, mentoring them, and guiding them to become skilled professionals. Two of our Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) programs are CAAHEP-accredited, ensuring a standard of excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach and mentor students in the Cardiovascular Sonography program.
- Deliver course content effectively, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Help students develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the field.
- Support the professional development of students as they prepare for careers in sonography.

Qualifications:

- Associate’s Degree (required)
- ARDMS, ARRT(S), or CCI certification (required)
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in the field (required)

Preferred Experience:

- No prior teaching experience required.
- Experience in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient, is preferred.
