Make a Meaningful Impact on the Next Generation of Cardiac Sonographers
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Program Director – Cardiac Sonography to lead our Echocardiography program. In this leadership role, you'll oversee the program's academic and clinical operations, ensuring excellence in curriculum delivery, regulatory compliance, and student success.
Lead and manage all aspects of the Cardiac Sonography (Echocardiography) program, including curriculum development, faculty oversight, and accreditation compliance.
Supervise and support instructional staff in both classroom and clinical settings.
Oversee program planning, development, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Maintain compliance with institutional, federal, state, and programmatic accreditation standards.
Facilitate advisory board meetings to align the program with current industry standards and employer needs.
Collaborate with campus leadership to review student outcomes, including completion, placement, and employer feedback.
Interview and assist with onboarding new instructional staff and support student recruitment during enrollment as needed.
Monitor and support student success in both in-person and online learning environments.
Conduct or oversee student orientation and in-service training for faculty.
Assist in developing the academic calendar and maintain accurate student and employee records in coordination with the registrar.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Minimum 3 years of teaching or occupational experience in cardiac sonography or a related field
At least 2 years of full-time experience as a registered sonographer
Experience in curriculum development and educational program assessment
Strong knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements
Credentials & Licensure
Certified, registered, and/or licensed in cardiac sonography or a related field, in accordance with state and accrediting body requirements
